Elliott, I have been around the truck business
pretty much
my entire life. My Father owns a truck dealership
and has taught me a lot
about trucks and the business aspects. I
am familiar with what it takes to
make a deal go smooth. Growing up I watched
how my Father would treat
each of his customers, I saw first hand the
value of treating everyone with
respect. I have always believed with everything
in my life that you treat people
the way you want to be treated. I also now
that if someone has a bad experience
somewhere, they will tell everyone they can
about it! (I know I do
that!)
I am in this business for the long haul.
I thought about doing something different,
but what? I have a rewarding career and I
have met a lot of great people.
I consider many of my customers friends.
I know it's not daily that you
find a woman in this business. Not a day
goes by that someone does not mistake
me for the receptionist when they call in,
or when I walk outside to greet
a customer, before I say anything I get a
look like: who the heck are you?!
I don't let that bother me because I know
that I will prove myself to each person I talk to.
I listen to what my customers have to say.
I am not a pushy salesperson; therefore
many of my customers are repeat and referral.
I will tell you the good,
the bad, and the ugly. I have been told horror
stories of other truck sales
people, and often times thanked by my customers
for not being the"
typical salesperson". I realize that
trucks are as much a part of your life if
not more than they are mine. I understand
that you make your living out on the road. Many of you have families at
home counting on you, with that in
mind; I don't want your time wasted. I understand
the value of time. I
am employed by MHC Kenworth in Kansas City.
We specialize in Kenworth's, however
its not unusual for us to have other makes
and models, Most generally,
if you tell me what you are looking for I
will use all of my resources
to find it for you. We also have a service
and parts department to serve you better.
I could go on all day about the reasons to
call me for your next business investment,
although I am going to stand by my belief...
